Bespoke joinery for homes and penthouses: dressing rooms, wardrobes, kitchens, bookcases, doors and wall panelling drawn alongside the architecture practice, made entirely in our own workshop and installed by our own team.

The brief

Solid timber panels and screens organise circulation through the home and filter daylight across the day. Rather than being added at the end of the build, the joinery is drawn from the outset alongside the architect: it defines where a wall begins, where a door disappears and how far a ceiling runs. The result is a house in which wardrobes, panelling and doors read as one continuous volume.

Materials and detail

Solid oak and walnut veneer, bronze glass, lacquered metal framing and lighting integrated into the cabinetry itself. We work with continuous grain across doors and fronts —veneer leaves are selected and matched one by one— constant shadow gaps, edgebanding with no visible glue line and concealed soft-close ironmongery. Lacquers are prepared and polished layer by layer until they reach the dead matt or high gloss the project calls for.

How it is made

Everything comes out of our own workshop. Cutting lists are sized on the precision beam saw, machined on the Biesse Rover CNC centres and the nesting line, edgebanded with the Biesse AirForce system —which fuses the edge to the board and seals it against moisture— and pressed for panelling and veneering. Lacquer is applied in pressurised booths with their own filtration and lighting, so not a single dust particle reaches the surface.

Site survey and installation

Before anything is cut we measure the building as built: no wall is square and no ceiling is level, and that difference is resolved in the workshop, not with a hammer in the living room. Pieces are dry-assembled, numbered, packed with protection and installed by our own team, adjusting gaps and alignments on site. We hand the home over clean, with drawers regulated and doors hung plumb.
